Exploring Social Justice and Civil Rights Through Primary Sources

Available year-round.
Students will engage with primary sources such as documents, newspaper articles and photographs that illustrate key moments in Lake County’s history of social justice and civil rights movements.
Through guided discussion and activities, students analyze sources to gain insight on the importance of local history and how relevant these issues still are today.
